BioReTherapy, BioRePeelCl3® Q&A
Q. What is the technical course of action of BioRePeelCl3®, andhow does it differ from traditional TCA and other chemical peels used foraesthetic skin treatments?
BioRePeelCl3® represents an evolution in chemical peeling technologies by combining biphasic delivery, biochemical modulation, and dermal biostimulation within a needle-free, low-downtime format. Its technical course of action markedly diverges from traditional TCA-based peels in the following ways:
- Mechanism of Action: Biphasic Controlled Penetration & Cellular Modulation: BioRePeelCl3® functions via a biphasic system:
The hydrophilic phase contains 35% trichloroacetic acid (as sodium trichloroacetate), salicylic acid, lactobionic acid, tartaric and citric acid, plus revitalizing amino acids and vitamins. This phase exerts a controlled keratolytic effect by gently disrupting corneodesmosomal bonds, leading to a selective decoupling of corneocytes in the stratum corneum while preserving deeper epidermal integrity.
The lipophilic phase acts as a stabilizing barrier. It prevents TCA oxidation, reduces trans-epidermal water loss, and assists in even distribution of actives without compromising the skin barrier.
This dual-phase format ensures precise delivery with minimal inflammation, enhancing skin renewal without the widespread protein denaturation and “frosting” seen in conventional TCA peels. - Biochemical Cascade Activation vs. Pure Coagulative Peeling: Unlike standard monophase TCA peels, BioRePeelCl3® initiates a three-stage biochemical cascade:
Pre-inflammatory cytokine response (IL-1 → IL-10)
Activation of the skin’s Stress Response System (POMC → MC1R pathway)
Stimulation of growth factor production (PDGF, VEGF, TGF-β1)
This cascade contributes to fibroblast activation, improved angiogenesis, increased dermal extracellular matrix (ECM) synthesis (collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid), and clinical rejuvenation outcomes typically seen only with deeper or ablative procedures, without associated downtime. - Formulation Stability & Safety Profile: Traditional TCA peels degrade over time due to oxidation, leading to colour changes and reduced efficacy. BioRePeelCl3® avoids this with its lipophilic phase which:
Protects sodium trichloroacetate from oxidation
Enables room temperature storage
Minimizes skin irritation by modulating TCA’s bioavailability
This results in higher formulation stability, increased treatment predictability, and better patient safety. - Clinical & Patient-Centric Advantages:
Painless, needle-free application
Safe for all skin phototypes (I–VI) and all seasons
No downtime, erythema, or visible peeling required for efficacy
Versatile use: Face, neck, décolleté, body, and as an adjunct to microneedling, RF, injectables, and LED phototherapy
Summary: BioRePeelCl3® offers a novel course of action—leveraging biochemical stimulation, phase-controlled keratolysis, and functional amino acid/vitamin support—delivering dermal rejuvenation results comparable to medium-depth peels, but with the tolerability and recovery profile of a superficial procedure. By preserving barrier function, modulating cellular communication, and stimulating endogenous repair pathways, it delivers measurable rejuvenation without the aggressive injury typically associated with chemical exfoliation.
BioRePeelCl3® is not merely a reformulated TCA peel—it is a biostimulatory dermo-resurfacing system grounded in biochemical precision and phase-controlled delivery. As such, it offers a paradigm shift in chemical peeling: effective, elegant, and aligned with the principles of modern aesthetic dermatology.
Q. How and to what extent is BioRePeelCl3® compatible with corneotherapy principles?
BioRePeelCl3® demonstrates a high degree of compatibility with corneotherapeutic principles, particularly in how it delivers epidermal renewal while preserving and, in some cases, actively supporting the integrity of the stratum corneum and the skin barrier. Its formulation and mechanism contrast with conventional chemical peels that often violate corneotherapy fundamental tenets.
- Alignment with Corneotherapy: Barrier-Preserving Exfoliation: Corneotherapy emphasizes protecting the epidermal barrier and avoiding unnecessary disruption of corneocyte cohesion. While BioRePeelCl3® does induce desquamation, it does so via:
Selective weakening of corneodesmosomal bonds rather than uncontrolled keratinocyte damage or complete barrier ablation
A “decoupling” of corneocytes that facilitates renewal without causing barrier collapse
Absence of aggressive epidermal protein coagulation or “frosting” (common with conventional TCA) that would breach the skin’s defensive architecture
This controlled, non-ablative keratolysis allows BioRePeelCl3® to renew and regenerate the epidermis while keeping the skin’s immune and microbiome defenses largely intact. - Biphasic Technology: Barrier Stabilisation & Functional Lipid Support: The lipophilic phase of BioRePeelCl3® is explicitly designed to:
Create a temporary occlusive film that reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL).
Mimic components of the hydro-lipid barrier, aiding in the restoration of skin barrier function post-treatment.
Enhance delivery of hydrophilic actives without compromising the skin’s lipid matrix
This makes BioRePeelCl3® one of the few peeling systems that actively integrates skin barrier support into its formulation architecture critical for corneotherapeutic compatibility. - Post-Treatment Synergy: Barrier Recovery & Skin Support: In corneotherapy, maintaining the recovery environment post-procedure is essential. BioRePeelCl3® protocols incorporate post-care products such as:
BioReHydra® (a hydrogel serum rich in humectants, marine actives, GABA, micronized HA, and antioxidants)
BioReLift® (a biomimetic peptide-rich cream supporting hydration, inflammation control, and lipid replenishment)
These formulations are designed to reduce TEWL, restore barrier lipids, suppress inflammation, and support microbiome balance—essential actions in a corneotherapeutic model. - Anti-Inflammatory and Biochemical Modulation: Rather than initiating uncontrolled inflammation, BioRePeelCl3® activates the skin’s Stress Response System (POMC–MC1R axis) in a regulated way, leading to production of growth factors such as TGF-β1, VEGF, and PDGF—promoting wound healing, dermal extracellular matrix (“ECM”) production, and angiogenesis without damaging inflammation. This low-inflammatory profile is strongly aligned with corneotherapeutic goals.
Conclusion: BioRePeelCl3® offers a corneotherapy-compatible alternative, relative to conventional peels by achieving epidermal renewal and dermal biostimulation without compromising the skin barrier. Its biphasic delivery, anti-inflammatory modulation, and integration with biomimetic post-care protocols position it uniquely as a barrier-conscious chemical peel, and a rare intersection between corneotherapeutic philosophy and clinical rejuvenation outcomes.
Q. Under what conditions or circumstances might a patient not display optimum results after BioRePeelCl3® treatment?
The following technique will produce consistent and superior results:
- Avoid excessive massaging of BioRePeelCl3® after placing onto skin. Please implement these key steps;
- Skin should be thoroughly cleansed and degreased to allow proper penetration of the active ingredients.
- Ensure consistent emulsion, by manual oscillation of the vial of BioRePeelCl3®. The BioRePeelCl3® solution must appear a consistent green colour without any yellow or blue patches or streaks. If you allow the vial, or the loaded syringe, to rest for more than 2 or 3 minutes you must agitate the vial to emulsify the BioRePeelCl3® before drawing and applying BioRePeelCl3® onto the skin.
- Begin by applying BioRePeelCl3® to left side of the face, moving across to the right. Gently spread the fluid evenly over the skin being treated. Some light rubbing to spread and apply the fluid evenly is necessary - excessive rubbing or massaging should be avoided.
- After spreading BioRePeelCl3® evenly wait for the BioRePeelCl3® solution to begin beading. At this point commence the timer count-down.
- Monitor the patient by gauging the extent of heat, tingling and/or discomfort. The patient should be feeling increasing sensation from 1-2 minutes after beading, which may progress to a level of 3.5 to 4.5 out of 5 level of heat, tingling and/or discomfort.
- Neutralise BioRePeelCl3® with potable water and sterile/clean gauze.
EXCESSIVE RUBBING OR MASSAGING DURING THE APPLICATION OF THE BioRePeelCl3® CAN LEAD TO PREMATURE MECHANICAL ACTIVATION OF BioRePeelCl3® WHICH MAY GARNER SUB-OPTIMAL OUTCOME
- Failure to correctly emulsify BioRePeelCl3® by agitating the vial immediately prior to placement on the skin, will produce suboptimal results, and may cause complications.
- It is critical that the biphasic solution is adequately emulsified before charging the syringe. Agitate the vial until the liquid is mixed and presents as a consistent green colour. Agitate the vial of BioRePeelCl3® immediately before drawing from the vial. Apply the BioRePeelCl3® solution immediately after charging the syringe, to ensure complete emulsion of both hydrophilic and lipophilic phases.
- Poor or inconsistent application technique, where the solution is not applied uniformly across the treatment area may result in suboptimal results.
- Damage or burning of the skin can occur where only the hydrophilic (acid) phase (yellow fluid) is drawn and applied to the skin. Idle BioRePeelCl3® solution will phase separate the hydrophilic and lipophilic phases. Do not allow a charged syringe to sit idle for more than 2 to 3 minutes.
- Failure to utilize the post-treatment topical immediately after a BioRePeelCl3® treatment and/or failure to follow the At-Home protocols may result in suboptimal results and/or unnecessary cosmetic-downtime.
- BioReHydra is formulated to work synergistically with BioRePeelCl3®, to complete the treatment cycle. BioReHydra must be used after each BioRePeelCl3® treatment. BioReHydra may also be used after any energy/laser, microneedling or ablative treatment, to soothe and moisturise the treated skin.
- BioReHydra and BioReLift are formulated as part of the BioReTherapy protocol and work synergistically with BioRePeelCl3®. BioRePeelCl3® is a unique patented advanced aesthetic invention. No other topicals have been designed to complement the unique function offered by BioRePeelCl3®. Substituting topicals will not provide the same synergy, whereas those topicals may be used in conjunction with BioReHydra and/or BioReLift as part of an ongoing home treatment program.
- Avoid inappropriate post-care treatment and topicals – refer to the Contraindications list - such as the early reintroduction of exfoliants or actives which can disrupt the skin’s renewal process.
- Patients with compromised barriers or chronic inflammation may benefit from a preparatory skin treatment involving barrier repair, antioxidant support prior to BioRePeelCl3® treatment.
Q. Under what conditions or circumstances might a patient not display noticeable results from BioRePeelCl3® treatments, despite correct application protocols?
Some clients may not see noticeable results from BioRePeelCl3® treatments despite correct application protocols due to several underlying factors. One of the most common is the presence of a thick, untreated layer of corneocytes, particularly in clients with retention hyperkeratosis (retention hyperkeratosis is a skin condition characterized by the abnormal buildup of dead skin cells, the corneocytes present on the surface of the skin due to impaired natural exfoliation), which can significantly hinder the penetration of active ingredients. In such cases, gentle pre-treatment exfoliation may be required to remove the superficial barrier of retained corneocytes and optimise product absorption. The use of the 4EVER® is particularly well suited for this purpose and may significantly enhance treatment outcomes whilst ensuring the skin is not overtly agitated or sensitized immediately before conducting a BioRePeelCl3® treatment.
Q. Should manual extractions be done before a BioRePeelCl3 treatment?
It is advisable to avoid manual extractions prior to administering BioRePeelCl3® treatment. Extractions can induce inflammation, disrupt and break the skin barrier, potentially impacting the intended penetration of the product, which is specifically designed to protect the skin barrier and maintain its integrity.
Utilizing innovative biphasic technology, BioRePeelCl3® consists of a lipophilic layer and a hydrophilic layer, optimizing the delivery of active ingredients while safeguarding the outer skin layers. When the skin barrier is compromised through extractions, the effectiveness of the Biphasic technology has been bypassed and the intended mechanisms of action of the protective lipophilic layer compromised, resulting in the direct delivery of 35% Sodium Trichloroacetate to the epidermis.
While there are potential benefits to incorporating extractions and spot treating with BioRePeelCl3®, such an approach should be considered an advanced protocol. It is crucial to refrain from performing extractions before the initial application to achieve optimal results and ensure maximum skin protection. The integrity of the skin barrier is vital for the effective functioning of BioRePeelCl3® as it is intended and designed to nourish, protect the skin without disruption.
Q. Can energy-based devices be used with BioRePeelCl3®?
With the exception of Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT), or Photobiomodulation (PBM) we do NOT recommend the use of energy-based devices with BioRePeelCl3®. Combining BioRePeelCl3® with energy devices is considered off-label. To prevent inflammation or irritation, energy-based and sound-based devices should be avoided both pre- and post-treatment, unless the patient has undergone at least two or three BioRePeelCl3® treatments and the practitioner is familiar with the reaction of that patient’s skin. Under such circumstances the practitioner must consider the duration necessary for the patient skin to recover after a BioRePeelCl3® treatment before conducting any energy-based treatment. This recommendation speaks to the need for preserving the skin’s innate healing processes and maintaining the integrity of the skin barrier.
BioRePeelCl3® is considered a medium-strength peel, specifically designed to effectively work within the papillary layer and reticular dermis. Its unique formulation aims to protect the skin’s acid-mantle and stratum-corneum through its innovative lipophilic layer. BioRePeelCl3® bypasses, and minimises disruption of the outermost layer of skin to deliver its beneficial ingredients below the surface.
Applying energy-based treatments that deliver energy to the same area as the peel can interfere with the protective and rejuvenating effects of BioRePeelCl3®.
BioRePeelCl3® may elicit a variable, and not insignificant, inflammatory response. The addition of energy device treatments may burden, leading to overstimulation and increased inflammation. If not meticulously managed, such interactions could result in adverse effect. Therefore, it is imperative to prioritize patient safety and exercise caution when considering the integration of these treatment modalities.
LED therapy, which is beneficial for enhancing healing when used post-treatment. LED therapy supports cellular repair and can reduce inflammation, making it an excellent adjunctive treatment following a peel. We note LED treatment garners better outcome when administered after a BioRePeelCl3® treatment. LED treatment stimulates mitochondrial activity and energy production in the skin. This stimulation may lead to increased energy retention before the peel. In summary, while some energy-based devices have their place in skincare, it is essential to consider their timing and interaction with BioRePeelCl3®. The use of 633nm and 415nm LED post-treatment has been tested to yield optimal results, while 830nm LED should be avoided. Future Masterclasses will explore the application of LED before BioRePeelCl3® and provide guidelines on when to use or refrain from using these energy modalities effectively. A careful evaluation of the treatment plan and consultation is recommended to ensure the best treatment outcomes.
Q. How many treatments are needed, and how far apart should they be?
The number of BioRePeelCl3® treatments a client may require may vary from three to six treatments. Generally, these treatments are spaced between 7 to 21 days apart, depending on the client's response to the peel. After the desired result is achieved the client may continue with a maintenance program of one BioRePeelCl3® treatment every three or four months.
It is crucial to consider the Fitzpatrick skin tone during this process, particularly for clients with skin tone III and above, who may need longer recovery periods between sessions due to their heightened risk of hyperpigmentation and prolonged inflammatory response. Each treatment plan should be tailored to the individual, ensuring optimal safety and effectiveness while facilitating adequate healing time between applications.
When administering BioRePeelCl3® treatment some clients may need an extended interval between sessions, potentially ranging from 10 to 21 days, to ensure adequate healing and minimize the risk of complications. Darker skin types often demonstrate a prolonged inflammatory response after various treatments and chemical peels, necessitating more cautious treatment plan.
By adjusting treatment schedules based on individual skin responses and characteristics, clinicians can optimize outcomes and enhance the safety of the BioRePeelCl3® protocol. Ultimately, personalized treatment regimens should be established to accommodate the unique needs of each client.
Additionally, it is essential to document each client’s progress by taking pre- and post-treatment photos. A client evaluation form should be completed for every session, and all contraindication forms must be reviewed and signed-off on before each treatment, even for clients in an ongoing treatment program, to account for any changes in their condition or circumstances.
Q. Can Collagen Induction Therapy - Microneedling be combined with BioRePeelCl3®?
Combining CIT (microneedling) with BioRePeelCl3® is an advanced protocol and not recommended unless the following criteria’s is met;
- Consider the State regulations, as each state differs.
- Consider whether the practitioner has the necessary qualifications to conduct such a treatment.
- Consider whether your insurance covers such a treatment.
Whilst this advanced protocol may seem enticing for intensifying the effects of BioRePeelCl3®, we strongly urge you not to proceed unless the client has undergone at least three BioRePeelCl3® treatments so you may gauge the client’s tolerance and reaction to BioRePeelCl3®. BioRePeelCl3® is designed to minimise disruption of the acid-mantle and stratum corneum through its innovative bi-phasic technology. When microneedling is performed, microchannels in the skin will circumvent “protective” functions of BioRePeelCl3®, which may compromise the skin barrier and directly exposes the underlying tissue to the 35% Sodium Trichloroacetate contained in the peel. This exposure not only contradicts the lipophilic protective barrier otherwise provided by BioRePeelCl3, but it also drastically increases the potency of the solution applied, significantly heightening the risk of adverse reactions, or inflammation. Clients may experience burns, pigmentation changes, and other severe complications as a result of this interaction. Additionally, clients with Fitzpatrick skin tone III and above are at greater risk of serious injury and complications.
We will announce Advanced Training Workshops in the coming weeks. Microneedling of BioRePeelCl3® should not be administered unless you are suitably qualified, or adequate training and all regulatory considerations have been addressed.
Q. What ingredients should be avoided post-treatment of the BioRePeelCl3®?
Post-treatment care is paramount to ensure optimal efficacy of BioRePeelCl3® treatment. It is essential that clients receive comprehensive post-treatment guidelines to help minimize cosmetic downtime. it is imperative to avoid any active ingredients that may induce stimulation or exfoliation, including but not limited to Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs), Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), and retinoids. These compounds can interfere with the skin’s natural healing processes and potentially result in complications or adverse reactions.
In contrast, clients are encouraged to utilize hydrating and restorative products that promote skin recovery. BioReHydra and BioReLift, have been formulated to complement and complete the BioRePeelCl3® treatment and recovery cycle – optimise skin healing and regeneration.
BioReHydra provides deep hydration by delivering essential moisture to the skin, thereby reinforcing the skin barrier and restoring optimal hydration levels. Its formulation aids in alleviating inflammation and irritation, while simultaneously supplying vital nutrients that support cellular repair and regeneration. The use of BioReHydra is instrumental in promoting an ideal environment for the skin to heal effectively.
BioReLift is designed to facilitate the re-epithelialization of the skin, boosting its structural integrity while enhancing firmness and elasticity. This product works synergistically to accelerate the skin’s regenerative processes, thereby reducing signs of irritation and improving overall skin texture and appearance.
Emphasizing the use of these specialized formulations will significantly contribute to a safe and effective recovery process. Therefore, it is crucial that clients are provided with detailed aftercare instructions to optimize their post-treatment experience while safeguarding the benefits gained from the BioRePeelCl3®, procedure. By prioritizing adherence to these recommendations, we will not only facilitate enhanced healing and promote long-lasting results, but we will also elevate client satisfaction and outcomes at the clinic. This commitment will foster client loyalty and encourage continued engagement with our services.
Q. Post BioRePeelCl3® treatment protocols - can they include zinc or Vitamin B3 be applied post-treatment?
Protocols following treatment should include the recommended products to optimize skin recovery and results. Both BioReHydra and BioReLift are designed to complement the BioRePeelCl3® treatment as integral components of treatment protocols to minimize inflammation and to nourish the skin after each BioRePeelCl3® treatment.
BioReHydra features over 15 active ingredients, including micronized Hyaluronic Acid, ocean extracts, amino acids, and essential vitamins. This blend enhances hydration, reduces fine lines, and revitalizes dehydrated skin through a unique combination of four ocean extracts and eight amino acids.
BioReLift contains more than 20 active ingredients, including biomimetic peptides enhanced with colloidal platinum. These components work synergistically to improve skin firmness and elasticity, while natural oils and butters further amplify nourishing and hydrating properties. Together, these products offer a comprehensive approach to skincare that addresses both immediate and long-term needs.
We strongly also recommend using a physical, zinc-based sunscreen as part of the post-treatment protocol, as it is integral for protecting the skin, especially for those who may be exposed to outdoor elements. Protecting the skin from the sun is essential, as sun exposure can exacerbate sensitivity and is a contraindication to treatment. A zinc-based sunscreen not only offers broad-spectrum protection but also has soothing properties that can aid in recovery. Zinc does offer anti-inflammatory and healing benefits that support skin repair and reduce redness, while Vitamin B3 (niacinamide) enhances the skin barrier and also possesses anti-inflammatory properties. While the use of zinc and Vitamin B can be beneficial, we strongly encourage adherence to the established protocols – BioReHydra should be applied immediately after each BioRePeelCl3® treatment without compromise - we have found the official CMed protocol to be the most effective post-procedural products delivering exceptional results after a BioRePeelCl3® treatment and also integral in minimizing and complications post treatment.
Q. Can mineral SPF be applied post-treatment?
Yes, mineral SPF can generally be applied post-treatment, but this largely depends on the skin's response and the specific formulation of the sunscreen. It is crucial to apply SPF only to intact skin, as any broken or compromised areas should be allowed to heal without the influence of products that may irritate or further inflame the skin.
For individuals with severely inflamed skin or inflammatory conditions such as acne or rosacea, it is advisable to avoid applying SPF and makeup for at least 24 hours. This waiting period allows the skin to heal post peel and provides an opportunity to assess the condition without interference from additional products. We recommend that no sun or other activities that may expose the client to heat or sun be engaged in, please provide all post peel documentation to clients for a safe result driven outcome.
After the initial healing period, a gentle, mineral-based sunscreen containing zinc oxide or titanium dioxide can be a beneficial choice. These types of sunscreens are less likely to irritate sensitive skin while offering effective broad-spectrum protection against harmful UV rays. Ultimately, closely monitoring the skin's condition and responding accordingly is essential, offering tailored advice for post-treatment care advisable.
Q. Why don’t we treat moles with BioRePeelCl3®?
Moles MUST NOT be treated with BioRePeelCl3® due to the potential risk of masking underlying skin conditions, including cancerous lesions. Moles may indicate changes in the skin that indicate the presence of malignant growths, such as melanoma or other tumorous growths. Treating over moles will alter their appearance, making it difficult for both the clinician and the patient to identify any suspicious changes that may signal skin cancer.
Furthermore, the active ingredients in BioRePeelCl3® create a chemical environment that could inadvertently change the colour, texture, or border of the mole, complicating future evaluations. This not only poses a risk of overlooking potentially life-threatening conditions but can also lead to delayed diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. It is imperative for clients to undergo a thorough dermatological examination prior to any cosmetic treatment and a referral to the appropriate doctor or specialist encouraged if required, especially for those undergoing and involving chemical peel treatments or laser therapies. This precaution aligns with established protocols in dermatology, which emphasize the importance of assessing and monitoring suspicious lesions. By ensuring the visibility and integrity of moles and other skin lesions, all clinicians and healthcare professionals can prioritize patient safety and facilitate early intervention in cases where cancerous growths are present. This is also contraindication to treatment.
Q. Are red blotchy patches a normal reaction?
Erythema, or redness, is a normal and expected reaction following a chemical peel, as each client may experience varying sensations during their treatment. It is important to understand that individual responses to chemical peels can differ significantly, while some clients may express discomfort others do not experience any sensory distractions, we recommend always ensuring that the product has been properly neutralized with water and gauze. After the skin is dry, apply BioReHydra to provide hydration and support the skin’s recovery. It is very normal for clients to feel a stinging sensation for a few seconds, which is part of the skin's natural reaction to the treatment. If necessary, antihistamines may be recommended to manage any histamine-related symptoms.
For those who have concerns about their skin's reaction to the treatment, we encourage patch testing prior to the full procedure. This practice allows for a better understanding of how the skin will respond and helps mitigate potential adverse reactions. Throughout the treatment process, it is crucial to continuously monitor the client's condition to promptly identify any issues and maintain open communication, inviting clients to report any unusual sensations or concerns during post and treatment recovery.
Q. Can BioRePeelCl3® INTENSE be used on the face and neck?
BioRePeelCl3® INTENSE is designed for use on thicker skin of the body – excluding intimate zones. BioRePeelCl3® INTENSE functions in a similar way to BioRePeelCl3® TOUCH, by safeguarding the microbiome, however, it is crucial to understand that the INTENSE formula contains 50% Sodium Trichloroacetate, which is an extremely potent chemical that carries the risk of burns or injuries to the client. BioRePeelCl3® INTENSE has been used to treat numerous skin conditions, such as body acne immediately before surgery to treat whilst protecting the microbiome of the skin to optimise post-surgery wound healing by supporting the skin microbiome during treatment.
Spot treating with INTENSE on more sensitive skin, such as the face, is considered an Advanced Protocol and should only be performed by practitioners who have undergone the necessary training to ensure safety and efficacy, or alternatively by a medical doctor.
Skin on different body areas presents unique characteristics, including a thicker epidermal layer. This variation in skin thickness and other characteristics, such as oiliness and sensitivity, can impact how the treatment is received. Therefore, it’s important to tailor treatments to the specific needs of the skin in different parts of the body to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Q. What is the expected downtime BioRePeelCl3®?
The expected downtime with BioRePeelCl3® treatment is none or minimal, which is one of the reasons it has gained such popularity among clients. In fact, many clients can transition directly from the treatment bed to their workplace without any significant interruption, there is minimal peeling, flaking and shedding. While there may be some slight shedding over the course of the week following the treatment as well as the possibility of minor residue or erythema, the general consensus and experience suggest that there is no real downtime associated with this procedure.
Reactions can vary from individual to individual; some may experience mild peeling, while others might notice a sensation of tightness and a healthy glow. To manage any potential downtime effectively, the use of BioReHydra and BioReLift is recommended, as these products promote healing and hydration. This combination of efficacy and minimal downtime is why BioRePeelCl3® is considered a highly sought-after glow-up treatment for those looking to achieve noticeable results without the inconvenience of extended recovery periods as per traditional forms of chemical exfoliation.
Q. BioRePeelCl3® treatment spacing with Fractionated RF MICRONEEDLING and Non-Fractionated RF?
Energy-based treatments require careful consideration when determining treatment spacing and frequency. It is generally recommended that sessions be spaced a minimum of 12-16 weeks apart to allow for adequate healing and recovery. Given the varying nature of these treatment, it is crucial to evaluate each client on an individual basis to assess specific reaction, healing responses and treatment requirements before scheduling complementary BioRePeelCl3® treatments.
The downtime and healing time associated with the various energy devices may vary significantly between clients, therefore personalized evaluation is essential. By doing so, clinicians can ensure optimal results while prioritizing client safety and comfort. Continuous communication with clients regarding their progress and responses to treatment is vital for determining the appropriate spacing and frequency of the BioRePeelCl3® programmed sessions, once again as with the light and sound-based energy devices we do not want to overtreat and risk any serious adverse complications for our clients. As part of our ongoing commitment to education and advanced training, we will introduce guidance on the safe combination of these modalities into a comprehensive BioRePeelCl3® treatment solution once all testing and protocols have been established.
Q. Is a two-week gap between BioRePeelCl3 sessions too long?
A two-week gap between BioRePeelCl3® sessions is considered acceptable and will not negatively impact the progress of treatment. BioRePeelCl3® can be performed as frequently as every 7 to 10 days, allowing for flexibility based on individual skin needs and treatment objectives. Therefore, an interval of two weeks is perfectly appropriate for maintaining the efficacy of the treatment.
After completing a series of closely spaced treatments aimed at addressing specific skin conditions or dysfunctions, clients can then discuss their goals and collaboratively develop a maintenance program. This program typically involves extending the interval between sessions which helps to sustain the improvements achieved during the initial treatment phase. Continuous assessment of the client’s skin response is essential for determining the most effective treatment frequency and ensuring optimal results from 4-6 weeks or more after the initial treatment programme goals have been reached.
Q. Application technique: Where to start?
When applying, it is advisable to begin the treatment from the left side of the face and gradually move to the right. This technique takes into account that the right side of the face may hold more energy and is often more reactive due to factors such as sun exposure, which can accumulate from daily activities like driving. Starting on the left allows for a systematic approach in application, ensuring even coverage and optimal results across the entire treatment area. Applying the product methodically helps to manage any potential adverse reactions, as it provides the opportunity to assess the skin's response on the left side before moving to the lightly more reactive right side. This technique also allows for better control of the treatment process, ensuring that the client’s comfort is prioritized throughout. By considering these factors during application, practitioners can enhance the efficacy of BioRePeelCl3® and provide a customized treatment experience tailored to each client’s needs.
Q. How to neutralize the BioRePeelCl3?
The neutralization process for BioRePeelCl3® is straightforward and efficient, requiring only clean cloths and cool water. Unlike some other chemical peels, BioRePeelCl3® does not necessitate a separate neutralizing solution; instead, you can simply rinse the skin with water. It is essential to use a light patting motion to prevent any epidermal disruption or sliding.
Q.Layering with BioRePeelCl3 backs, body, face?
Layering with BioRePeelCl3® is a technique that can enhance the efficacy of the treatment, and this topic will be covered in depth during our Advanced Protocol training workshop. This workshop will provide practitioners with insights into the strategic application of multiple layers, allowing for tailored treatments that address various skin concerns. Q. How much product should be used per treatment?
The standard guideline for the amount of BioRePeelCl3® product to be used per treatment is 2ml. However, this amount may need to be adjusted based on the size of the client's face. For larger facial structures, it is often necessary to use more product to ensure even coverage and optimal results.
Using less then 2ml. is not encouraged unless you are seeking a milder treatment. By tailoring the product volume to the individual client's needs, clinicians can enhance the treatment's efficacy and ensure a satisfactory experience for each client.
Q. How should the vial be stored?
Once the BioRePeelCl3® product has been pierced, it is essential to maintain its sterility and ensure that it remains sealed to prevent contamination. If the product is to be used on different clients, always draw the treatment with a sterile needle to avoid compromising the hermetically sealed and sterile nature of the product. Proper storage is crucial for preserving the integrity of the product; therefore, it should be kept in a cool environment, ideally below 20°C. To ensure the product remains effective and safe for use, it is recommended to utilize the opened product within 30 days this ideal. Following these guidelines will help maintain the quality of the treatment and ensure optimal results for clients.
Q. What is the Pre-peel preparation?
The pre-peel preparation is a crucial step to ensure the effectiveness of the BioRePeelCl3® treatment. Begin by performing a double cleanse using a 2% chlorhexidine wash, which is effective in removing makeup, dirt, and sunscreen. This thorough cleansing process helps create an antibacterial base for the peel. It is essential to ensure that no makeup or debris remains on the skin, and the skin should be completely dry before proceeding with the treatment. Proper pre-peel preparation not only maximizes the efficacy of the peel but also enhances client safety by minimizing the risk of irritation or adverse reactions. Please take note to cover the client’s eyes during the application process of the BioRePeelCl3® ensuring a safer procedure please do so.
